Bandar Seri Begawan, capital of Brunei Darussalam is pretty tiny. In a day we could even do the whole city tour. Here is some slight itinerary I did on my previous trip in this sultanate country. Maybe you’ll be sort of inspired while making your own itinerary 😀
.00 am : Having breakfast at Tamu (local term for traditional market) Kianggeh which is located right infront of bus terminal. Rice + dishes + beverage (milk atau ice tea) = 2 BND only
.00 am : Dropping a while at the post office to see some Sultanate stamps collection and some stamp gifts from neighbor countries. Don’t forget to send postcards for your friends, it’s kinda fun activity too, isn’t it?
.00 am : Exploring Kampung Ayer. Rent water taxi, bargain as cheap as possible, between 5-10 BND/ person. Don’t forget to drop by at some jetty to enjoy local morning activity
.00 am : Shopping souvenirs in Yayasan mall (kind of shopping center) or at some shops across Dirgahayu tower
.00 pm : For some Moslem, you can do your Dzuhur pray at Sultan Omar Ali Saiffudin mosque before having lunch. Don’t forget to keep precious moment by taking some photos inside and out the majestic building. If you’re not a Moslem, you can directly head to have lunch at Mall Yayasan food court or try one dollar nasi Katok (rice and fried chicken in Bruneian authentic sauce at jalan Cator
.00 pm : Visiting Royal Regalia museum to see some Sultanate collections like royal cart and some ornaments used when having parade or some souvenir-souvenir from neighbor countries

.00 pm : Go around jalan Roberts to see some old yet preserved buildings like Chinese Commercial Building or hangout while sipping your hot Capucinno at the De Royalle cafe–the first 24/7 cafe shop
.00 pm : Some Moslem friends can prepare your self for Maghrib pray at Masjid Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiyah, and the others could spend time by photo shooting at this most majestic and luxury mosque in the country. Don’t forget to take some photos in front escalator which used to be used by sultan and family when entering the mosque. Btw, if you’re lucky, you can meet and pray with Sultan too

.00 pm : Going to Jerudong Theme Park or visiting tamu Gadong, night culinary center in Gadong district. If you meet some local friends or if you rent a car, you can go there to enjoy authentic culinary. Then go to a park beside the market to enjoy your meals and and Bandar Seri Begawan chilling evening
